"God patiently understands your hesitancy. He made the first move toward establishing a loving, trusting relationship with you. He didn’t wait until you could be trusted to receive His love, and He doesn’t insist you become trustworthy before he trusts you with precious gifts (Romans 5:6-8).” Trust and obey God always. God bless to all. - 0 - "If you want to remain free of bitterness or regret, begin to trust that God is actively working on your behalf, even in what appears to be the worst of circumstances. This is a matter of faith, where you choose to believe God is at work." We are all a work in progress. God is at work in all areas of our lives. God bless to all. - 0 - As the Good Shepherd (John 10:11), Jesus gives us all we need. He is the Great Shepherd (Hebrews 13:20) because He has provided the hardest thing for us and that is our salvation and He will not withhold anything that is good for us. He is faithful and as Chief Shepherd (1 Peter 5:4), there is no one else like Him. When David wrote Psalm 23, he was at one of his lowest moments of his life. It was like a prayer to God as he expressed his fears and the blessings of having a Shepherd like Him. Prayer brings fear into focus and faces it. But prayer does more than bravely face fear; it affirms God’s presence in it. May we always draw near to our Shepherd and trust in Him for He is our provider, our guide, our comforter and our victory forever. |
